We, the undersigned, are very much part of the Columbia University community. Constituting the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, We are students in classes with, teachers to, peers of, and are current and former military personnel. However, in 2008 ALL COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY SCHOOLS were given a chance to voice their opinions in an online vote, similar to the survey being sent out to the undergraduate schools and SIPA now. Between 2008 and now, Our votes have been absconded. We want Our right to vote returned. Contrary to the view being proliferated, the presence of ROTC at Columbia does not not merely affect the students of Columbia College,Barnard, and SIPA but indeed affects and is pertinent to Us all. Therefore, before any vote, survey, or other action regarding this issue is taken, We respectfully ask that our votes be returned immediately.
