Refund a partial amount of the tuition fees in AUS

Return part of dorms tuition and for other facilities

I payed for the labs in caad and all my courses are practical this semester. Not only in caad, but theatre courses too. I did not take any advantage of these labs

For graduating students, it’s really unfair

As much as I believe that we are all in this together. The economic crisis, caused by pandemic, is posing on everyone challenges whether, AUS or us. However, I trust that due to the unused facilities, and privileges that we were promised with whether labs, sports complex, etc.. I believe a amount should be compensated to us in a way or another. I would advise first to send an email to the Chancellor Kevin Mitchell and Dr.Lisa, both who I respect their opinion, and to hear his thoughts about this and maybe then we might balance our arguments to satisfy both sides. Please share your thoughts!

We understand that the tuition fees is needed to fund education services and faculty and staff pays, however many other fees, that are dedicated for other items, can be refunded, such as activities / housing / medical (plan 2). This is especially needed as many of our household incomes have been impacted and it is unfair to pay for things we don't recieve value for.

We spent 1/3 of the the semester in dorms.

I believe we must have a reduction in the fee especially because we are not entitled to the same quality education that we are paying high fees for. The markets are down and this will help a lot of people !

That is very true. It is fair that part of residential and tuition fee to be refunded.

Mar 31, 2020 A partial refund is requested, as not even half of the semester was completed. Also now the courses are only online, comparing the tuition fees paid for the services services we got now, isn’t fair!

I think the quality of the online teaching doesn’t stand up to the face to face interaction we used to get in our institution. Therefore, I believe we should receive a partial refund for the time we spent and are going to spend online. Thanks

Refund the housing fees as well.

They should return some of the money we paid especially for dorms i stayed for a month only
