Refugee should be useful and productive if they are treated well. Let all refugees and asylum seekers work and study is one part of protect them and they should support in development of country which accept them. No one can choose to be refugee! It is just about to find where to feel save.

We Afrikaans are all recognised as one blood and one motherland ... If we were accepted to study pharmacy as a family, then we must be qualify in the same basis as pharmacist working together in supporting each other.. so I plead on the DHA and the government to look into this matter and help my fellow brothers and sisters as well as all .

I believe that as a human being we are all equal. it doesn't matter which country you come from, when we are taught in class we are taught the same curriculum as foreign student. I believe it's unfair that international students are denied the job opportunity while they have studied hard. I fully support this initiative that international students must have the same opportunities as South African students.

The new immigration policy proposed by the department of home affairs is totally marginalizing refugee students and their parents, we are part of the society who contribute economically, our parents pay taxes, there are lot of refugee professionals who studied in the country and ready to contribute to the country, yet the department didn't recognize our plight, we need a proper documentation. and every refugee have the right to seek employment in the republic of South Africa.

I wish for proper dialogue and further more that the interests of refugees in particular students are safe guarded against. This is minority within a minority, who over looked yet have the greatest potential through their studies to give back to SA and their respective communities.

What we need is to be recognised as those who want to contribute to this country.
