If Thailand were to have comprehensive reform towards their refugees, it would better the lives of refugees in Thailand. The reason I have started this petition is because of my wonderful world cultures teacher Erin Terzi who made aware of the daily lives of refugee's in Thailand. For example the refugees in Thailand are not allowed to work but yet they still have to pay for their food. When I first heard this I was in disbelief on how someone would expect to pay for food and not allow them to work and then I compared it to how the United States treats are refugees and I was shocked. This is why I want the United States to help Thailand reform the way they treat their refugees.
