Small businesses in the United States employ over 60 percent of the American workforce, and this percentage has been on the decline for years. The current business environment favors large corporations, which employ fewer workers and reduce the amount of competition in the market.

To improve the business climate for small business, I support the following solutions:

1.Create a business environment that facilitates small business growth and success

2. Create a balanced and predictable regulatory system by reducing regulation that hinders businesses while maintaining regulation that guards against behavior that is unethical and threatens the stability of the economy

3.Restructure the tax system so it does not provide advantages for larger businesses over small businesses

4.Reduce unnecessary fees for filing documents and registering new business entities to create and maintain small businesses.
