Move the gate arms back to the guard shack and make the arms independent. That would solve the problem.

The speed bumps serve no purpose as they are. We need the right to make these decisions and it seems to me like so many things are left up to the board. I am sure there intentions are good but we all need to have a say in something that affects us on a daily basis.

Speedbumps don’t seem to be the best solution for gate strikes. The best solution in my opinion is to have the gate arms open independently. One side for residents and one for guests. When both side open it can cause confusion and one can assume it is opening for them when it is not.
The first speedbump is right around the corner and is hidden. That is very poor placement and should be removed. The bumps on the guest side really aren’t needed either because people are slowing down already or starting from a stop.

There was no need for additional speed bumps especially since you are coming around a bend. A sign to slow down would have been more effective and less annoying. In addition to less costly.
I don’t think the new speed bump does any good.
