Plans are already made for too many of the students. I vote for you accomplishing all you can accomplish within the given time.

Being a frequent flyer over the past 4 years, I have made my travel plans a year ahead of time to have cheaper flights. Asking me to rebook my flight will 1. be impossible since a lot of international flights are already booked 2. will be ridiculously expensive due to last minute booking. And it's not even about the money. Its about what I will be missing on the days I would need to stay.

Unlike most people who will just fly back home to spend thanksgiving with family, some don't have the money to do that and to also fly back home for winter break.

This is a huge disappointment. Travel plans have already been made and paid for. I would have to miss my sisters baby shower for class which is not acceptable.

My brother is a SCAD student and we have a family trip planned for these dates, which I have taken off work around and booked a flight from CA which cannot be changed. This is really ridiculous and is interfering with people's family plans.

International airlines mostly don't care about the hurricane and my tickets are over $3000. Also I don't celebrate Thanksgiving at all, this decision is just insane.

I've been planning a huge trip for several months now, there's no way I can cancel. I'm going to have to miss the entire last week now, and there's nothing I can do about it.

Our flight tickets that was already bought for the winter break (November.17) does not effected by the hurricane at all, airlines will not let us change the flight tickets with out extra fee which is a lot of money. Please stands at international students position to think of the inconvenient for us, and even the thanks giving break before the final week is not even works well for other students, all the students already have their future planning and this decision may makes students lose jobs, internships, money...etc. please think of a better solution please.

My son does not have a car at SCAD & is at the mercy of catching a ride with another student traveling to Ohio or catch a flight. We discussed the new calendar dates & decided he may have to miss Thanksgiving with the family & delay his startup winter work date. I've respected SCAD's usual holiday break which saves the families expense on driving or flying once for Thanksgiving & then immediately turn around & have an additional expense for Christmas break. Please consider having makeup classes on Fridays.

This plan is unfair to plans I had and to my friends who already had their plane tickets purchased

We have planned a major extended family event for the week after Thanksgiving. Our daughter missing this would be very disappointing and sad for our family.

I am going to the DR afterwards with BRP and already bought plane tickets! I am not changing it just for this! Also, school was not originally going till the 22nd of November, it was till November 17th!

Our Winter quarter already starts way too early. This is absolutely insane and there is no way they can force us to do this.

Although I understand how the current decision may have been reached, it causes a strain on travel & other plans that were already made for winter break. It merely isn't about convenience, but great, additional financial burden to alter said plans. Thank you for your consideration!

I think it is important to stay with the regular schedule, because most of the international student are booked the ticket to go back home. I think it is not sense to extend the school schedule.

Classes should be held on Friday's to make up the days we've missed. I'd rather have that than having to come back from home only for 4 days then fly back home... it makes no since
