In my 20 years of boating I have never seen such a shambles! Take take take is all the CRT are doing, and not giving back to the people who are keeping them in jobs! Broken and leaky locks, less and less lock keepers, sanitary facilities are a joke. Britsh waterways were saints compared to guys

More maintenance less flooding of land and buildings (homes and housing)

River Ouse needs both clearing of debris and between Naburn and Cawood is is serious need of dredging. Most locks are now looking abandoned, when it was Britain Waterways they were always kept immaculate.

In 21 years of boat owning I haven’t seen as much decline in waterways as I am seeing now - in so many areas!

The whole system is grinding to a stop. River trent needs dredging, canal locks gates leaking and in need of repair and maintenance. Canal navigation shallow and overgrown
