Final supporters
Due to the Patriot act, NDAA 2011, and NDAA 2012, our right to Habeas Corpus (trial) has been dangerously undermined. Currently the president could have citizens indefinitely detained or killed, without a trial. We want our right to a trial to be firmly established. We need 100,000 signatures to take it to congress.

I spent the entire morning digging through legal archives because the silence from the people in power is just deafening and honestly it makes me wonder if they even remember what due process actually looks like. It is wild how complicated everyone wants to make it when the fundamental right to exist without being locked away indefinitely should be the easiest thing in the world to grasp. Please just keep this moving forward because I am not stopping until we get someone in a room to explain why they think this is okay.
