Reduce the band score.

ielts requirements for non EU nurses should be totally scrapped out

The reading should be reduced to 6.5, others should remain the same

l also feel this test is delaying nurses resuming duties as most countries were British colonies and medium of instruction is in English. l think CBT is the only test relevant for competency of nurses.

Allow to write only the areas l will have not performed well

Writing and reading score should be reconsider to band 6.0, my suggestion as Stated before.

We humbly request the Ielts score to be dropped to 6.0 on writing and reading then the overall can stay on 7.0.

I recently sat for my IELTS examination and scored an overall 7.0 band score, I had 6.5 in writing, 8.5 in speaking, 7.5 in listening and 6.0 in reading that then means the reading section disqualified me from getting into the UK for Nursing. I really think there should be consideration for results such as mine because it is expensive to seat for an IELTs exam more than once.Therefore I support this petition and hope it will be taken seriously by relevant authorities.
