Gun violence impacts families, communities, and the entire fabric of society. It is no longer enough to offer condolences or thoughts and prayers; we need systematic change, and we need it now. Gun-related deaths are the leading cause of death among teens and young adults in our country. It is a crisis that must be addressed with urgency and determination.

We propose using a multi-pronged approach involving evidence-based policy reforms that include stricter background checks for all gun buyers, limitation on the sale of high-capacity firearms, and mandatory gun safety training.
