We have raised this petition in order to benefit Khidmah as an organization, help maintainemployee motivation and retain staff and to increase productivity and to boost wellbeing within our Organization. We are requesting that our hours be shifted from 8.00am-4.00pm with a half a hour break daily. Alternatively, we support the idea of flexible timings( completing 8 hours per day), as long as each employee fulfills their roles and responsibilities delegated to them.

We believe altering the work hours will:

• Increase numbers of Emiratis wanting to work at Khidmah(this is vital as we are a proudlyEmirati owned Organization)

•Allow workers to spend more time with their families, resulting in more productive and happier workers

•Boost productivity through increased concentration, less breaks and reduced stress(resulting in happier, dedicated employees)

•Reduce the amount of sick days workers take, thus adding to productivity

•Increase the amount of women in the workplace

•Increase overall staff retention and reduce costs to HR

We would like to implement the timings as soon as Ramadan commences and believe the move would be extremely beneficial to all Khidmah professional staff(Including Managers/Directors).
