Reduced fees for Kings Schools, Dubai, UAE

I’m an advocate of Kings education standards, and culture. Under normal circumstances, I’m satisfied with the fees structure, however, like most, we find ourselves in unprecedented times. Whilst I support the schools position in fully remunerating their staff, I’m at odds with the justification to pay the full fees for term 3, given that overheads have been considerably reduced. There are multiple schools in the region that recognize this and have acted accordingly, albeit, offered a discretionary discount. It is only reasonable, Kings follow suit.

Please reduce the fees at this unfortunate time.

Given there are no admin expenses. No options of future activities to be planned, parents at home with zero income; please be supportive and cooperative when you have the opportunity to. How can you justify no concession when almost all schools in Dubai have the strategy to? We have 2 kids in Kings. Fees fully paid, but if we get some refund that is a saving for coming few months for us. We are in the jewelry business and it’s been shut down for 5 weeks now with zero revenue.

Due current circumstances i think is fair to get some discount as cost for te school is less, and the parents we are in difficult situations due Covid situation,

Fees should be definitely reduced for Term3

I do not wish to reduce fees so that it impacts teachers... but feel a reduction is necessary as the day to day running costs of the building/resources are not there.

For the first time in my life, I have to say that my bank is showing much more empathy and compassion than our school !!! ( I absolutely hate banks...). Look at the level of information being asked for the bursary application.....much more than the banks are asking these days...

Kings showing that they are all about money and not giving a toss about the very people who keep this school afloat. Time to show your values Kings group, or I suspect a mass exodus come next school year.

Please we need at least 25% discount on the last term fees

It is a time for the whole community to pull together and share the financial and emotional stress that is effecting us all. It is not right that families suffer whilst the school profits from this situation. A financial reduction should have been offered. It is insulting to ask for people to justify their need for a discount. A great school has let down their customers and themselves with their decision which clearly favours profit over people.

The quality of the online learning has to improve and give parents more time to prepare for special materials. Please give reduction in the condition that no workers would leave school because of the waiver. Thank you.
