Reduced fees for Kings Schools, Dubai, UAE

Honestly, I had expected Kings' would offer discount before any other schools considering Kings’ being an outstanding School. King’s being an institution which teaches respect & values to its students should show the solidarity and compassion which is necessary in the current situation. Please remember that we parents had supported the School by paying the full school fees from the time when Kings’ Al Barsha was not completely setup with the facilities. If we had been paying the fees in full during those times, Kings’ shouldn’t hold back in offering the blanket discount which everyone of us are in need of at this time. This is not the time to play business when everyone is suffering at the same time. It is insulting to ask for us, parents to justify our need for a discount when the situation is totally understandable. We as parents are paying for services that we are presently not receiving in full, hence the fees has to be adjusted accordingly. Please look into this at the earliest and offer us a discount of at least 30% for term 3.

I spend at least 5 hours a day teaching my son now and feel with my husband suffering a 50% pay cut, a decrease in fees is the only moral and correct thing to do for a long-standing kings parent who has been loyal to the school for 6 years.

Families are struggling, unpaid leave, 50% discount is required for term 3 and it’s fair on both sides this is a time to be helpful!

We love Kings but we are disappointed fees are not reduced as reflected across majority of UAE schools and other industries. We hope Kings will reconsider it’s home schooling fee structure for parents facing financial and mental stress. Thank you.

I believe that school learning is not only about material ,its also about the school activities,team work, building relationships and much more...being at home and not having all these benefits deserves a reduced fee for sure

It's fair that school and parents should share this burden from cov19 outbreak.

If this is no positive outcome for the parents , parents will know which schools were there for the parents and which schools were not , hence knowing where their kids will be next academic year

Kings Albarsha reduce the fees

Core human principles aside (as they largely appear to be for Kings’ management in the current circumstances), as a for-profit business Kings relies on consumers’ willingness to pay top dollar for a top product. This is no longer the case in the e-learning situation. We are simply unwilling to continue to patronize the school for the current value proposition represented by the fees vs the online product. It is important to recognize this is not a price issue but a value issue - particularly in light of the competition - as we are considering alternatives which are more expensive but represent greater value as an educational and development product.

Parents are sharing the considerable workload of teaching, many have taken salary cut, and unused facilities mean the school's overhead costs are much reduced. These factors should result in a reduction in fees for Term 3, as many other comparable schools are now introducing, either as refund on already-paid, or reduction on to-be -paid either for this term or next school year
