We have too many children ages 4 and up that are within feet of the traffic on Sharon.

The volume of speeders going we'll above 50 MPH makes it unsafe for pedestrians to cross the street and is putting our children at high risk. It is difficult to pull onto Sharon Road without having someone almost run into your car.

We live directly on Sharon Road near Chilton and are greatly impacted by the high traffic on this street. Having a small child, it is nearly impossible to cross the street to go for walks as there isn't even continuous sidewalk on our side of the street. It is unsafe to be in the front yard due to cars AND school buses flying by. Also, there are increasing amounts of large trucks passing by who are not even doing work on this street; therefore, should not be using our residential street as a "cut through."

The increasing amount of traffic during both morning and evening rush hour is making it more and more difficult for home owners in this area to enter and exit our property

Every day I drive down our street at the posted speed limit and every day I am aggressively tailgated, honked, flashed and even verbally abused. I have had drivers call me the absolute worse swear words you can direct at a woman. I have had cars overtake me across double yellow lines and nearly cause high speed head on collisions. All because I am driving the speed limit on our residential street.

I have a 4 year old whone runs down the street every week to visit his friend who lives at the corner of sharon rd and Sunderland pl. I always worry about the number of cars driving past our houses at high speeds. I have even seen school buses flying by! I also drive my kids to school every am and I'm shocked at the number of cars that are allowed to pass through the light at sharon rd and wendover. This also creates major gridlock as you go further in town toward the intersection of Queens and Providence rd!!!

The traffic on Sharon road is too significant for a residential street. It makes turning into driveways unsafe and difficult. The volume of traffic and speeds traveled make it difficult for residents to enjoy their yards and the sidewalks on our street.

Thanks for the attention to this matter. Significant challenges exist on Sharon with speeders.
