He signed for a 10 year deal at $254,000,000. He will be making close to $1 mil. every other week. The annual income of the average American in 2010 is $41,673.83; less than half of what the average MLB player makes EVERY OTHER WEEK! I remember when baseball was about entertaining the fans and less about the money, and when players would spend their career with ONE TEAM. Their salaries need to be reduced! This greed needs to be stopped!
