College finals are a consistent source of stress in college students, counting for about 20-40% for a class’s final grade. If a student works throughout the semester to maintain a passing grade, they obviously show some mastery over the subject and in many cases of poor final grades, it isn’t purely because of a lack of knowledge on the subject. I propose that policy be changed in such a way that the results of a final test cannot cause an individual to fail the class.

YES. i studied my butt off all semester and still failed because of one stupid test. this system is broken.

this is so needed. some professors make the final worth way too much and it just ruins your gpa even if you did good all semester. really hope they listen.
