It is dangerous out there. I personally have been almost hit by a car.

As a local and a First Responder for the area, this is needed as it is a matter of time before we have a fatality at the Descanso Junction intersection (Hwy 79/Riverside Dr.).

I think this is a great idea. I'm frankly surprised it has not been done already. Far to many people walking around the area to have cars blazing through at 55 and sometimes more.

This is a common sense issue and it shouldn't take much to change the speed limit. I've been witness to many close call disasters while turning left on to Riverside Drive and it's only a matter of time before we'll all be reading someone's been hit by a car after dining at The Junction Restaurant as many folks have to park across the street directly on 79. So, let's not wait until disaster strikes; let's be pro active Ms. Jacobs.

I live in the area and know to slow down but people traveling through don't. It is a very dangerous area especially pulling in and out of the restaurant. We need slower speed signs posted here before someone dies or is injured. It's so simple to save a life by posting signs before tragedy strikes.

I have had 2 former students seriously injured in accidents at this intersection. Both nearly died. We live with this intersection every day and perhaps have more insight into its dangers. Please help us make our community safer.

I cringe trying to make a left onto River from Hwy 79, especially when there is someone tailgating me which is quite often.
