I very much agree that the upper retirement age limit is too high considering we do such a busy, active job with lots of Manual handling! Cannot imagine lifting people down the stairs in my mid 60's and doing CPR, unless it was my own choice to do so. We are by far the busiest service and our demand is increasing. We need to take action together and stop this stupidity!

My son and daughter-in-law both work for the ambulance service. there is no way they will be able to do CPR at 67. Why not bring it down to 60

Could not agree more, that's why I want this petition to be signed by as many people as possible. Once i get a certain amount of signatures it has to be discussed in parliament.

Shift coupled with how busy we are now plus stress is a bad combination for ambulance Staff s health & welfare.

It is about time that ambulance staff received the recognition amongst the emergency services which they deserve.
The pay is appalling, and work conditions are equally as bad.
A shocking indictment on the value placed by the Government on skilled, dedeicated people who deal with trauma and tragedy on a daily basis.

Bring down the age now to retire. It's impossible to sustain this level of work load

I agree with that. If we do get to retirement we have back and knee problems.

The job has changed so much and pressure from everywhere. Many don't make it to retirement
