Re highway intersection at State Hwy 28 and 11c - Returning Dreams Park buses speed through that intersection now - they have no interest in signage - or a stop light there. If the proposed route requires the returning DP buses to stop at that intersection, they will want to have signage/ a signal there. The proposed route makes them part of the solution, not part of the problem.

The Dreams Park buses speed thru that highway intersection now. If the returning DP buses have to turn there, they will see to it that any problems there are fixed with signage or a light.
So this route actually will improve the 11c / 28 intersection making the DP buses part of the solution, not part of the problem.

That is a state highway department matter, not a Village streets issue. The returning Dreams Park bus traffic at that intersection will not change at that intersection - they use it daily now.

That intersection is a state and county highway, several miles outside the Village. What happens on State Highway 28 or County Highway 11c is the state and county's responsibility, not the Village's. If signage or enforcement is inadequate on a state or county highway, that needs to be addressed by the state or county highway depts.
Large tour buses can use state and county highways by right, they use Village streets at the discretion of the Village.

i totally agree with reducing the amount of street use in the village...the biggest problem with your proposal is having the buses take 11c and make the left on 28. This intersection area in particular has a very high occurrence of auto accidents when the Dreams Park opens, and to add to it with buses would be catastrophic.

I am in agreement with Milo Stewart. I use the intersection of 11C and State Rte 28 often, sometimes several times daily, usually making a right turn onto 28 to get home. Turning left there, south onto rte 28, is dangerous and causes traffic to back up badly on 11C. Adding tour buses would make the situation a lot worse. I have advocated for a traffic light there, deactivated after the dreams park season, but got no response.

Bus impact in the village is the concern, reducing impact on streets and neighborhoods. If there are problems elsewhere with county intersections the county should address them.

Kindly circulate to anyone in the Village that wants to reduce tour bus traffic from core streets
so why add to the problem?
