The commuting costs for students who do not live close to the university premises, which is majority of the students, is already rather high. The failure of the university in acknowledging this cannot be pardoned as we leave our homes and come to the university with the belief that our requirements will be taken care of. Please understand the various issues the students are already facing and create a more reasonable option for us to be able to park our vehicles and stay in college.

It’s very very very expensive for us students not everyone can afford this specially that we are paying + 50k for our university fees so this is too much and if they want us to pay they should have a monthly or each trimester payment option we can’t keep paying 10 dhs each hour

Should be free, as students are already paying for their tuition fees, and there are a lot of gaps in the schedule

This is very cruel on students. As it is we travel to the university with so much hassle due to how far the location is for most students. Considering different cars and different fuel consumption levels, some people like myself require 50AED petrol daily to come and go. On top of that if parking price is made 10AED per hour, how much do you expect students to spend on just commuting for attending the classes that we pay high amount of fee already? Please reconsider this and give students free parking. Universities like amity, manipal, bits, provide students with an entry sticker or packing cards which assures that non-university students don’t enter the parking lots. Paying 5 or 10 AED per hour is not practical when students have classes from 8am to 6pm.

We are already travelling a long distance to reach the university ( about 95kms ). And about 100 dhs of expense is already there. On top of that daily extra 60 dhs of parking is not affordable. Please try to understand your students issues and act accordingly

We are already travelling about 100km daily which is already an expense and we also dont have access to public transport nearby which is why we bring our own vehicle.We are already paying a large amout as fees with that this would be absolutely absurd to make paid parking given we have other expenses like food.

It should be free, I already pay enough. Almost all the unis have their own parking. If I knew the uni would stress us like this I would have never enrolled.
