Students have to pay 10dhs per hour daily just to park their car. Taking into account that students have classes from 8:00am to 6:00pm with gaps in between daily. This would mean on average students have to approx. spend 60dhs every day. This is highly unreasonable and we would like a decrease in price and be given the opportunity to opt for packaged payment that covers parking for a whole semester with discount.

Hello, I am Platon Bastuev, I have problems with parking at the university. Because the prices are very high, I have to park my car in a city parking where there is no protection from the sun. Because of this, especially in summer, the car is hot and I already had to change the varnish coating.

I believe the 2 hour ‘grace period’ is simply a trick to get more students to pay, since most lectures last at least 2 hours, leaving no time to move in and out of the parking, forcing students to pay even if they have only one class

The paid parking are unreasonable. I come to the university 3 days a week. Each day I stay for approximately 8hrs for my classes. I would pay 60aed per day, or 180 AED per week which is more than what I pay for petrol coming from Abu Dhabi. The prices should be closer to RTA prices.

I have classes from Monday to Thursday and over the course of the week, i have to pay about 240 Aed which makes it 960 Aed per month. Adding to that our university fees, fuel expenses to and fro the uni combined everything, it gets very expensive for me and many students in the similar situation.

It’s ridiculous to have such high rates with only 2 hours free for STUDENTS. Even malls in the UAE have a minimum of FOUR HOURS free. Its a stingy and cheap way to pull money out of your students.
