There is no reason for the DB Ferry to enjoy windfall profits from the reduced cost of fuel . Like the other ferry companies in Hong Kong, DB Ferry should reduce fares.

I have been DB resident for past 11 years and had to stop using a ferry on a regular base as it's not affordable anymore.

HKR: you repeatedly use the excuse of increased oil prices to increase the ferry price. Use your same logic to decrease the fares in line with other ferry companies now. Otherwise you lose face: you've been caught lying about why you wanted to increase the fares to begin with.
