It's about time that DB ferry price should reduce since
-oil price has dropped from high $130 to $40 ;
-other ferry operators are reducing their price to be in line with oil price dropped;
-government is also using our tax payer money to subsidies HKRI fat profit;
-HKRI always claim they lost money due to increase in oil price, so now the oil price has dropped almost 90%, we have not seen any ferry fare reduction as promised by HKRI to reflect the dropped in oil price;
-TD is also responsible for the fairness to public transport facilities for all HK people and dB residents should not be left out..
-there is no account transparency of DB transport service limited, we suspect they are making Hugh profit from the residents.
We hope TD will enforce fairness for DB residents too by asking HKRI to reduce ferry and bus fare accordingly.

Ferry Tickets pricing is too high as compare to other ferry pricings? for example how much is ferry tickets for Park Island residents? n outsiders?
its about same distance to Central v.v.
HK resort has to curb operating costs n manage effectively.
Increasing ferry ticket prices at the expense of the DB residents.
About HK$100 transport to go out n come back after midnight.
This has been going on as the company only justify why they need to increase rather than serving the basic community transport.

The ferry fare is already very competitive at about HK$31 for residents - less than the price of a cup of coffee. The journey is about half the distance of Central to Macau - and consider the price of a Macau ferry ticket. It's also a lot cheaper and quicker than getting the MTR and bus from Central to DB.
The demographic in DB is mostly mass-affluent working people and I don't think that a few dollars off the fare will make too much difference to most of us. For elders the fare is already very cheap.
We should support HKR in continuing to upgrade our ferry service and deliver excellent service.
