Reduce Crime in Sylvan Park!

The crime problem is out of control. I moved here 16 years ago, when Charlotte still had a big vangrany problem, yet, the crime is worse NOW! Please, patrol our streets!

I feel unsafe in this neighborhood for the first time in the many, many years I've lived here. The recent increase in crime in SP and in Nashville overall for that matter is stunning.. The Mayor needs to allocate adequate resources to stop the trend now before it gets any more out of hand. Whatever it takes.

I am very concerned about the uptick in crime in this neighborhood, and I would like something to be done about it.

The crime is such a problem in SP now!!

Totally agree - there's absolutely no reason our neighborhood should be a target for this kind of illegal activity.

yes we are very concerned. It's not just petty theft in cars but people more and more are trespassing in daylight just to steal. I had someone enter my security gate and go in my back porch while I was home to steal a package. Closed gate middle of the day. What prevents that person from turning viloent if seen or next come into the house. There is also viloent crime as well that has seemed to increase, car jacking, assault. I would like to see more police and cameras.

It's time. There's been a rise in theft, vagrancy, and in negligent driving in the past few years. Something needs to change.

Yes please get us more patrols. Also cars come flying down our street Elkins between 46th and 51st. We have a bunch of kids in this area and cars just fly by. It's only a matter of time before someone gets hit.
