I do not understand why so few families are being burdened with the county's debt. If anything, raise the corporate side not the residential. I don't have the cash flow the businesses have. I have two kids. I would like to save that money for them not a debt I didn't accrue.

our bill here in Lynn haven this last month was 117 for 4000 gallons of use and we have to pay seperately for trash !!!!!

i moved here from new mexico and our water rates were NEVER this high and they had to send it from 40+ miles away!! these prices are ridiculous!!

As a single parent the current water rates are too much for me to bear. There is no reason for me to stay on top of my 3 young children about toilet flushing. The basis for these rate hikes shows how inept Bay County Commissioners have been. Buying a water facility for an anticipated housing boom is putting the carriage before the horse. Expecting a mere 5,800 residents, a majority who don't even use the facility, shows how inept Bay County Commissioners continue to be. Either provide us the relief we deserve or kiss your county commission seat goodbye at election time. I personally will start a campaign to vote every single one of you out of office.

It is time for our elected County Commissioner's to stand up and admit their mistakes in purchasing the North Bay Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant before having a customer base so it could be paid for fairly and equally. It's time for them to take responsibility and make the water and sewer rates for Unincorporated Bay County fair and just, and in line with the other cities within Bay County!

Noone has the right to put a 29 million dollar debt on citizens and give them nothing in return. We are senior citizens trying to live out our lives in peace but instead have found ourselves in a fight to survive and keep our home , all because our county commissioners decided to build a water plant they had no bussiness building . They never thought it through ....or how it would affect people and they don't seem to care that it is only going to get worse for us as they continue to raise our rates ......We will continue to fight for justice !

We are senior citizens trying to live out our lives in peace but instead have found ourselves in a fight to survive and keep our home , all because our county commissioners decided to build a water plant they had no bussiness building .
