Fences should be used as a player ran blackmarket, to be able to use items from forts and banks IE: Stolen items to craft random profitable/useful items to the roleplay of the server, As of right now the job servers the same function as a pharmacist and while that may be fun for some it does not really suit the function that a criminal fence is suppose to serve (Actual wiki definition of fence here, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fence_(criminal)
The point of this petition is to show that there are vested interests in the job being changed because the job itself is one of the more elusive jobs to aquire in the server where there is a air of mystery behind it, and it makes more sense to put the blackmarket economy more in the hands of players then a traveling blackmarket shrub on a random island and can bring roleplay not only for criminals but lawmen trying to go after people of interest who are involved in the distribution/sale of stolen goods.

As long-time owner of the Black lotus, I 100% agree with this and know our society would love to have these Rolypoly interactions to add to the fence RP. Both Lawmen and Outlaws have showed interest in adding this element to county and we would support it as much as we can.
As a long time fence member I think making the fence actually more functional as such would be a great way to add some flavorful RP to the server. Making H and syn is profitable but doesn't really fit the whole fence theme. The only reason it does so right now is because it is owned by a Chinese man that created a backstory as a pharmacy and pawnshop. I think allowing us to use stolen goods to craft some unique items would be a pretty neat way to help create new and original storylines than a green zzzone buy/sell site. Either way, always glad to see all the constant changes in county and hopefully this one can be considered for the future.
Make fences great again
fence should be able to directly wash bags of cash/stolen goods at a crafting area into cash. allowing players to sell their bags to the actual player fence creating interactions that were never there before.
This would open up so many avenues for RP i love it.
As someone who recently became a fence I whole heartedly agree that this would open up a lot of new & interesting roleplay avenues for both sides.
I made this petition because I enjoy the traveling shady merchant roleplay, and currently doing that for drugs while fun I feels limiting, I do hope interest in this petition reflects the community desire to change the job for the better.

Having a player run black market would provide tons of p2p interactions. As it is now, RP-wise, the fences are kind of limited to selling the lotus's unique item. Other than that is crafting H and selling it to locals. I think a change like this would bring extra fun to not just the fence job, but to the server as a whole.
