The interest in this building is internal as well as external. A faced retention would be little better than complete demolition. This building deserves better and is capable of re-use.

I want to keep Fish Island as close to its architectural origins as possible as these buildings will in the future offer the area a distinctive identity that will encourage a multitude of businesses which will in itself ensure the survival of the area

Retaining the character, heritage and charm of these buildings whilst using them for alternative purposes such as creative spaces should be a priority for London right now. We are in very real danger of losing it's soul.

In addition to objections to the proposed redevelopment on architectural asthetic grounds, this particular redevelopment along with other similar projects already completed in recent times, and future plans involve raising the height of the structures by a substantial amount. Thereby casting considerately greater areas of shaddow for substantially longer periods of daylight. This will inevitably have a damaging effect on animal, insect, and fauna around the waterways. Such effects do not appear to have been given sufficient consideration and should do so now as these changes are probably irreversable once completed.

I am disgusted that a historic building such as this is being partially demolished. There are clearly very few buildings like this left and we should preserve it not envelope it with modern architecture.

It would be a crying shame to see Swan Wharf swallowed up by the property millionaires. It is by gradual attrition that we are losing our local heritage. 1 metre here, partial removal there. Before we know it, it's all consigned to the past. Unlike the stable block, I doubt the proposed structure will stand for anywhere close to 100 years.

There are few such beautiful buildings left remaining in London, this should preserved as part of our wonderful London landscape

Given the sparsity of examples of surviving former multi-storey stable blocks in London which form an intrinsic part of our city's history, it would be a travisty to demolish this exemplary building purely for developer's profit.

There are very few places like swan warf, when I come to London I see less and less independent cultural places. Swan Warf is a beautiful unique place with artistic freedom. Places like that need to be there

Our built heritage is a finite resource - we need to preserve not destroy it.

If granted, the application for Swan Wharf will adversely affect the historic interest in a conservation area and will set a disastrous precedent for over-development of its locally listed buildings. It is far too dominating when taken in conjunction with existing developments

the excellent architecture of the past shouldn't be exploited by develepors, especially for low-rate architecture!

Why would you want to pull down such a building. Such character, it should be cherished!

I have a studio in Dace Road, and know what a rich varied working community thrives in this area. We recently held Hackney WickED and thousands and thousands of people visit our studios. The conversion of the old stable block into luxury housing would have a deadening impact on our road.I object most strongly to the develpoment

This is a fascinating area and this building is a precious part of the area's dwindling heritage fabric.

It's a beautiful listed building, full of history and currently serving businesses. Stop demolishing buildings that were built to last.

It's such a shame that the developers do not see the merit and value of a heritage asset but instead maximising space at the cost if what is an interesting pice of the area architectural fabric.

this historical building gives the area character. Please keep the building and regenerate the area WITH its history.

The site and the area would be better suited to a conservation-led scheme that contributes to Hackney Wick's culture as a place where arts and the community can thrive.

The existing building works very well in urban design terms as well as being of industrial character. The proposals look as if they could be anywhere in London. Whereas the existing building is very distinctively Hackney Wick.
