Hackney wick is so beatifoul and particoular in all its details, please don't transform it in a series of glass building

One of the landmark buildings being destroyed (well developed in a most insensitive way).

The warehouses and architecture around Hackney Wick enforces the unique spirit of the area. Why persist in demolishing such historic and individual buildings to replace them with high-end places for living or working? Hackney Wick is one of the last remaining places in London where an individual spirit exists, but that will be demished along with buildings, and buried by new-builds. Don't let Wick become another homogenized, gentrified, spiritless area with not even an echo of it's own past.

Buildings are not just real estate.

The area, is been regenerated by the art and creative industries, and should remain supporting as such. This building is part of Londons east end heritage, and rare urban fabric, changing it to bland flats will be a catastrophe. The wall crane/cantilevere is rare and must be kept in situation for future generations to appreciate the working industrial history of the area.

It is part of heritage and should be preserved as it is, not more apartments being built. If anything I feel more in keeping with the area would be to allow the space for creative studios and bars/ restaurants as it currently is, which is far more important to the local community

We've already lost one building that was in the yard at Formans on Bream Street about 4 yeaes ago. Absolutely no need to lose this one, too. Hopefully these plans are so preposterously ghastly that the LLDC will throw them straight out but it'll certainly do no harm if we shout about it as well. We must ensure this doesn't get through.

I love this building and view of it from across the canal and the Greenway bridge. Having toured it woth current tenants The Hive, I see no reason to entirely demolish it. It is surely a perfect candidate for sympathetic rennovation

This area can not be developed into another generic area of London. This is one of the great gems of the east end with so much history.

this is a beautiful old building that should be preserved as part of London's architectural heritage.

We don't need another suburbia! this part of hackney has so much character and modernising it will destroy it completely

I have a small business run from Hackney Wick and the very reason why I wanted to locate to the area was because of the creativity and people. This proposed plan will not only look out of place but I don't believe that it will be used to help benefit local people and those who wish to base their small creative enterprises in the area. The Wick is popular because of it's raw creativity and perhaps yes it is a little tatty on the edges but the combination continues to bring people back all year around. The more flats that are built in the area, the fewer creative people will benefit. Please help save this wonderful place from unsympathetic regeneration with the erection of ugly buildings and instead focus on how you can work with local people to find out what we'd like to see in the area.
