Blundell Road park is at the heart of Saints ward and is utilised by all ages. In recent

years it has been neglected, whilst other parks have received funding and support to

regenerate and reinvigorate the vital green space.

We the local residents demand that Luton Council review their plans to refurbish this

area. The footpath provision needs to be complete, adequate and safe, welcoming

users of all sorts of ages. This includes the elderly who use it as an area to relieve

social isolation as well as local families.

Lighting, benches and cameras will also allow the area to be a safe area too. Please

see the undersigned that all use, live or work around the area and are in agreement to

bring this space into better use.
