Cory has made a complete change. When we were growing up, I feared he wouldn't make it to 21, and now look at him: a bright young man with a college education. I'm so proud of my cousin, and I pray that he would receive Executive Clemency so that he can continue on this path as a positive, active participant in society. So many young men need to hear Cory's story, and see that making a change is within reach.

Cory, I hope you get this conviction removed. You are not the same person you were in 2005

I was in a sociology class with Cory at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and he brought with him thoughtful conversation and an eagerness to learn.

I had a similar situation with my program and got approval for the person as an intern. They asked that he submit a letter telling his story along with his application. He was hired and is one the best performing interns.

I only know Cory through UAB. We worked on a Social Work project today. He is an intelligent, hardworking student and individual, and one never would have been able to tell he had anything on his record. Please expunge him of whatever crime he committed. He has made great strides in the years since.
