This subreddit must be removed at once from the list of default subreddits, and every single mod of /r/news must step down or be forcefull removed from their positions.

Censorship is unacceptable in any form, and what happened over the last 48 hours on /r/news is despicable. A default subreddit should not be so corrupt and biased.

Censorship for internet media is unacceptable. Some if not all mods in R/news deserve to be canned.

It's a damn shame that these children are hiding the events of a national tragedy from hundreds of thousands of Reddit patrons.

Moderating hate-speech is one thing, it's another entirely to lock and delete entire threads and comment sections that provide information on how to help. They screwed up, they should face the consequences.

The moderation team of /r/news is embarrassing. Their response to the Orlando Nightclub Shooting was horrific. They deleted comments that were not rule-breaking, and even comments about blood-drives. They were reckless in their moderation. I ask for nothing less than the removal of all current mods from /r/News. I also ask that it be de-listed as a default until such a time as it is free from corporate and ideological bias. Thank you.

Children should not be moderating site wide news on one of the worlds largest websites.

I think the subreddit should be closed altogether, and an existing alternative made a 'default'.

Such an embarrassment.

This is ridiculous, a default sub shouldn't get another chance after this.

Pathetic. Remove them already.
