As a member of the LGBT community, I was really upset by the lack of information I could get on this event which was especially important to me. The fact that there was censorships were the acts of a body of judgement which should be unbiased leads me to believe someone should take responsibility.

By hindering me learning about news, the subreddit deserves no place as a default sub. The mods as well deserve to be removed from their stranglehold.

Sack and ban those fedora wearing power trippers. That's what this was, a power trip. They wanted to see how much they could delete, how completely they could censor the world's most important news story, and how many people they could say unmodlike things to without anyone catching on. Their experiment has failed. Remove it as a default, sack everyone, erase the subreddit's ban list from the past 2 days, and delete the most objectionable mods' Reddit accounts.

I think it should be removed as a default sub after what has happened today.

Mods are not gods, they need to follow their own rules or they become innately worthless. New mods are sorely needed.
