Redbridge Roundabout - Petition to the House of Commoms

Very dangerous,takes too long to get onto the round about,cars speed round to quick so therefore your unable to get onto the round and the bus turning out of the station is a big problem.

This roundabout exit is shambles, a disgrace and dangerous!!! There seem to be so many comments on here demonstrating the strength of local residents' feelings about it. Another reason you can't get out is because of the traffic queued up on the roundabout across Redbridge Lane East. Who wants to take their life in their hands trying to get across 3 lanes to get to the inside of the roundabout and all this while being tooted and abused by motorists already on there?

Hi Ronald - thanks for adding your name to the petition. After what you said about the banner vanishing, I just took a walk down there and it is still there (breathes sigh of relief) - I have been passed before in my car and thought it had gone but as it is at an angle it is possible to miss it sometimes. Thanks for your support - we are over a third of the way to the target and hoping that the banner does stay there for the duration.

Very dangerous exit onto the roundabout

I noticed the "REDRAG" redbridge roundabout petition POSTER on my way to work yesterday (05/06/14) and added my name to the petition. Today the poster has been removed!!!!!!

i use redbridge lane east every day and totally agree on how difficult and dangerous it can be to get onto the roundabout - thanks for starting this petition

something must be done before a fatal accident occurs

I absolutely dread this roundabout and try to avoid it all the time. It's such a scary roundabout especially rush hour.

This roundabout can add 30-40mins to any journey

at 8 am this exit is ridiculous

Redbridge to busy for its own good

Yes this is the very important issue for us these days plz do some thing

please.sort out the roundabout so.that we dont have.to.spend.aaaages every morning trying.to.get on.the roundabout from redbridge.lane.east. it.a a nightmare.

Extremely frustrating to wait almost everyday as traffic here is awful.

This situation has been getting progressively worse for years. Time to do something before fatalities occur.

I spoke to Lee Scott local MP who put me onto Cllr Weinberg and local authority about this each said it was becuase the junction is part the Highways agency and part local authority noi one ever got back to me. Solution is simple. 1) take away mini roundabout at junction Redbridge Lane East & Roding LAne South. 2) Put traffic l;ights at Junction of Redbridge L E & Redbridge roundabout. 3) Traffic light cameras at junction of A406 southbound slip /with Redbridge roundabaout and also at A12 Eastbound with Redbrudge roundabout to stop huge volume of cars who jump the lights.

Please sort this problem out. It is currently a time consuming disaster for local residents.
