This area must be saved, not disposed. Private and commercial encroachment is already far too close. The uniqueness and beauty of this place includes its seperation from development, retaining as much of the natural desert as possible.

Nothing about the Red Rock area is disposable! It is rare, and needs to be cherished and protected!

Development has already encroached too close to Red Rock. This should be kept a public and mostly untouched resource.

there is no need to develope in OUR red rock area. Go refirbish areas around town that are below economic standards. Leave Red Rock in its natural beauty without the clutter of human presance

Red Rock Canyon serves as the backbone of my recently published book, Chewing Sand; An Eco-Spiritual Taste of the Mojave Desert, that is being read nationally. I have also just held a Desert Day retreat there for Stillpoint Center for Spiritual Development. This is the place where people go to replenish their bodies, minds, and spirits. We need more space, not less, to commune with the natural world on which all life on the planet depends.
