This area is NOT "disposable! YOU can see that it is preserved free from development of ANY kind. Pour open lands are disappearing at an alarming rate! SLOW down! And think before it's too late! Once gone, the untouched lands can NEVER be restored.

We live in Seattle area. Red Rock in its entirety is one of the best 4 season areas for Northwesterners to visit for recreation and spiritual rejuvenation. It is a premier environmental site for the L. V. area, Please keep it natural and available to all, so that our grandchildren and theirs can experience how the desert was before the massive human population engulfed the West.

I travel to Red Rock 4-5 times per year, spending 4-7 days each time and pumping significant money into the local economy (staying on the strip, frequenting upscale restaurants, etc.). But the #1 reason I go is the beauty and excellent climbing in Red Rock Canyon. If that is compromised, I wouldn't go to Las Vegas at all.

I am second-generation Las Vegan. What you did to Calico Basin was awful. Let the rest of Red Rock alone.

Keep those lands as conservation lands. That area is WHY I choose to visit Nevada a few times every year !!
