It's time that common sense prevail for once. Please remove the disposable classification and protect what is left untouched in the scenic Red Rock Canyon area.

Please save Red Rock. There is sufficient land already designated for private development. The Red Rock area deserves to be protected for the enjoyment of all citizens.

Legacy and heritage are treasures that we are responsible for cherishing and defending everyday and moment of our lives. We must be steadfast and resolved to constantly value and protect the beautiful environment that this community is blessed to be a part of. I do not want future generations to miss the magnificence of Red Rock. I don't want them to regret being born into this world too late.

There is plenty of land in the valley for development and lots of room south of Henderson for millionaires to live. Leave Red Rock alone.

Red Rock Canyon and the surroundings canyons are my sanctuary! I hike, walk and run out there almost everyday. I views from atop the ridges are stunning and bring peace to my day. It would be tragic to disrupt such a beautiful resource with more development. We have already done enough damage to the natural habitats of our native wildlife. It needs to stop! Let's leave this natural wonder alone!

I've been coming to climb in Red Rock Canyon every year for close to 30 years. It is a magnificent area to visit and explore and I strongly urge that the West Valley Disposal Area have the disposal classification removed.

I come down from Reno every year to climb in Red Rock and meet people from all over the world there to climb there. The setting is amazing, the sandstone perfect, and I've explored a ton of Nevada and California and its a pretty unique place. The only place I've seen wild burros and big horn sheep. For an idea of its value to climbers take a look at the Southern Nevada Bouldering Guide. It's 415 pages of climbing, and you have to go to page 357 before you find a problem that's not in the red rock vicinity. If you replace that unique playground for climbers, mountain bikers, and hikers alike I doubt I will ever want to go to Las Vegas again, and I doubt I'm the only climber that feels this way.
