I was born in the LV Valley 60 years ago. I spent much of my teenage years hiking and camping in and around Red Rock Canyon. When the Del Webb Corporation began building Summerlin and Sun City Anthem, the promises that were made to keep development away from Red Rock have vanished and been forgotten by most. Thanks to all who are fighting to preserve an important piece of Southern Nevada from the bulldozers and McMansion builders.
