I work in red rock and enjoy being able to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Red rock canyon is one of those places you can get away from it all. There are large amounts of wild life that depend on this canyon for life. Also having a community built on the ridge there would take away from the beauty of red rock and deter people from visiting.

Enough is enough, stop the building and ruining the desert, stop chasing away the wildlife. Go somewhere else and build something.

I surely agree that Red Rock should be prottected in EVERY way. As already submitted by another, " Please leave the Red Rock conservation area and surrounding nature areas alone and do not disturb by building residential and / or commercial properties further west than have already been built." This has gone on LONG ENNOUGH! Thanks to those who are working this problem.

I visit Red Rocks annually for the open space of the desert. The viewshed and the land should be protected and not be developed

I owned a home in Blue Diamond for several years and commuted into Las Vegas during the week. The pristine desert and mountains were as they should be, shaped by nature and a healthy environment for humans to hike, camp and spend time alone or with their families. Las Vegas has become a city of empty homes and businesses. Leave Red Rock as it is - not a dumping ground or empty land sought after by greedy, corrupt developers.

It's not worth adding to the population of the SW desert anyway with the water situation of the colorado river basin. build more densly downtown if development must occur

As a former resident of Las Vegas, I visited this area many times as a child. The beauty and peace of the area still remains in my memories of my childhood and young adulthood there. Please preserve this area for the sake of all who have been there and for those generations to come.

Greed is strong and time is long...I guess we have to keep fighting to preserve anything worthwhile for public access and enjoyment.
