We the undersigned are proud alumnae of Theta Tau. We have signed below to express our disappointment with the news that the Theta Tau charter will be revoked at the end of the current semester and also to ask for reconsideration of this decision.

We are real, strong, women. Many Theta Tau alumnae became lawyers, business women, communications managers, artists, mothers, and wives. We carry the lessons of unity and loyalty, learned through our time at Theta Tau, like a badge of honor as they guide our choices as adults. The current women of Theta Tau deserve the same experience. Rutgers University is a diverse melting pot of beautiful, smart women and Theta Tau is reflective of this environment. The chapter is a vital part of the Greek community. 

We understand that much thought was given to the decision made by the National Council and we acknowledge that the chapter has had its challenges over the years. The alumnae of Theta Tau are fully committed to supporting the chapter and ensuring its success as a thriving chapter on campus. We are capable of guiding the collegiates as they improve their chapter management, communication and recruiting efforts, and we intend to use all of our resources to ensure the success of the chapter. Many of us have remained local and can be active participants in the efforts to improve the chapter.

Theta Tau celebrates its 25th anniversary this year and we feel that our alumnae have extensive experience that can be leveraged to revitalize the chapter. We hope that you will take this into consideration when reviewing your decision to revoke the Theta Tau charter
