I fully agree with the wording of the petition. Ms. Washington should not be on the BOT!

The appointment of this nominee is troubling not only because she is counter-minded to the Catholic perspective and would be a detrimental force in ND's leadership, but also because it reveals a lack of due diligence on the part of the Fellows (or worse, a condition of apathy toward their own charter) whose purpose, role, and responsibility could not be weightier.

As a long-time friend of ND, the Board would do well to steer clear of anything related to the Obama admin.

Get her out of there. The Fellows of the University should do a better due diligence on individuals they appoint.

My dear Auntie, Sister M. Milada, SSCM, would be appalled. She's passed on now, but I must speak on her behalf. Please remedy this mistake as soon as possible.

Katie Washington could be a great representative for the University. I hope she will reconsider her advocacy of the coercive HHS mandate.

I continue to be perplexed on how the Univeristy can make these type of mistakes. This reminds of a company worried about its PC image rather than an institution that should be setting an example and leading on important issues.
