As a 1952 graduate of a then strong Catholic Notre Dame before "Land of Lakes" wildly swung the pendulum, I sincerely and steadfastly wish to express my opposition to the seating of Ms. Katie Washington on the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame. I do so with heartfelt concern for the students and especially their parents who expect Catholic morality to pervade, even in silence, throughout classroom lectures of learning.

I am a 1981 graduate, have raised 5 children, and I am very glad none have demonstrated an interest in attending ND. I do not even recongnize the school any longer. That pains me to write these words. Our two oldest, a son and daughter, with both be commissioned 2nd LT's in the United States Army when they graduate from West Point in May 2015. Keep up the fight Sycamore Trust!

Yet another example that our University has lost its way under the current leadership. We need a new Board as well as President

Notre Dame is NOT following the teaching Magisterium of the Catholic Church. I do not understand why the Holy Cross Order does not remove Fr. Jenkins from his position. Christ never sidestepped His Father's Wishes. The Universities of Ave Maria, the Franciscan University at Stubenville, and Catholic University in D.C.seem to be the three top leading Catholic universities in the United States. Notre Dame has lost all credibility as a Catholic institution.

Why would anyone allow this man to be the President of our Notre Dame in the first place? He is one of SATIN"S plants

I used to have so much respect for the University of Notre Dame but now I feel it is losing all credibility to its Catholic roots. This country is indeed in trouble when its Catholic university's start disobeying the Magesterium. Shame on them! I call on all alumni to withhold all money's given until such time as the leaders repent of their sins and bring the university back in line with Catholic teaching!

No Relation. Just a Catholic who believes that leaders of Catholic educational institutions should believe, support, & defend the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Education cannot be Catholic unless the Sacred Truth taught by Christ is conveyed to students by authentic Catholic teachers. Ms Wasington obviously does not believe in its teachings, so how is she qualified to be on the ND Board of Trustees which chooses the Professors who are supposed to teach the Truth of Christ.

The appointment of this outspoken leader of contraceptives and abortifacients, if this noble effort can oust this pro-abortion-contraception leader and help restore this formerly catholic school back to its original catholic glory. Please if you have to commit a coup d' tat, then do it, GODspeed to you.
