While I think it was godo that Valve reacted harshly and set a prime example for what will happen with those who throw matches, the rules around throwing matches where unclear at the time and csgo were NOWHERE near the popularity and price-money it now has.
While I totally agree upon the players being punished hard, bannign them for life is hard. They are great players and despite of the scandal they are still loved by the community and the players.
Why not give them a chance to come back? Perhaps not this year, but in 2017 for instance? They'd still have been banned for a long time and perhaps missed the peak of their careers, but at the same time it would be nice to see them come back.
The punishment was too hard and when it's felt as unfair by the community you've messed up.
So please Valve. Unban them and let them come back.

The double standard is amazing with Valve and other competitive groups. Cheaters get a one year ban and a slap on the wrist, while four people who stand as the best among the United States throw a match in a blaze of misfortune and glory, and get lifetime bans. We're talking bans that affect their ENTIRE life. But no, it's cool, give them the lifetime, but give others a year. (Btw cheating is literally match fixing in your favor. Nice standards babe)

These guys have put several thousand hours into CS. This is their life. Cheaters aren't even receiving as harsh bans.
