I really don't see how this relationship makes sense with their past and no build up to it. I would prefer if it was Barba but even if it's not him, the relationship makes no sense.

If anything I ship either Elliot and Olivia or Trevor Langan and Olivia (The actor who plays Langan is Mariska's husband) but I hate Tucker.

Think about what you're doing and the implications for the show, they ain't good. And remember the shows spent 17 years saying that Olivia benson doesn't need a man to complete her, so why are they forcing a relationship now!?! #fail

I tried to be open-minded, but I just can't buy this #Tuckson thing, not after years of him being so horrible to her and her hating him. If you watch the older shows (and I do, along with many of us), it makes absolutely no sense.

This is NOT the Olivia Benson I grew to admire over the last 17 years & fear this path will destroy SVU. Just because a few fans want her to 'be a princess & live happily ever after', it is NOT reality/cannon!
The character of Tucker was set up to be the 'Bad Guy we all loved to hate' NOT a good guy who all of a sudden becomes an angel & Olivia becomes blindly in love with! That's totally unbelievable/unacceptable...
PLEASE NBC do NOT force this unpractical/unbelievable/unacceptable relationship on your faithful viewers in spite of our expressing our nonacceptance of it! PLEASE LISTEN to your longtime loyal fans & undo this fairy tale/nightmare now & put the show back onto the story-line of the 'crime/victims/resolution' again & off the so much personal information. (Friendships are great but love relationships are too personal unless it's the final season & even then Tuckson would be 'vomit material' for us diehards. )
I cannot accept this relationship because there is absolutely NO CHEMISTRY between the actors no matter how hard NBC tries to make it appear! AND ZERO believably in that relationship! I also feel like NBC is trying to FORCE us viewers to accept it, even having Mariska express her acceptance of it! I DO NOT believe she, in her heart accepts either, she just does what she is asked to do for the sake of the show...
I fear that continuing down the Tuckson path will lead to the end of my favorite show because of this path. It is becoming a nighttime soap opera & that will lead to it's demise...JMO

I'd be all in favor of a romance for Olivia that actually made sense and was developed in a realistic way. This has not happened with "Tuckson" at all. All of a sudden he's gone from an adversary of SVU to her love interest with no explanation, no rationale, nothing. Meanwhile the writers were also hitting us over the head with her developing what appeared to be a serious drinking problem this season, only to drop it? The writing in Season 17 has been very inconsistent, particularly in regards to Olivia. I am not a bitter EO shipper or anything like that - personally I never liked Elliot, so this is not some lingering bitterness over EO never happening because I never shipped them. I just feel that if Olivia is going to find the right man, she needs to get her own life in order first - and not end up with someone who treated her like scum for so many years.

Although I like the ship, and like reading fan fiction for it, I know the original Benson would never go down a path with Tucker. Yes there is parts where she has changed, but I don't believe she was meant to be with Tucker like this.

No one who has watched all the seasons would ever believe this could happen. He did nothing for years except try to make her life miserable, completely ignores the trauma she'd undergone etc etc. I don't care how much people change, you can't get over things like that and the Olivia Benson we know and love may not be mean and spiteful, but she's smart enough not to trust someone like this.

Tuckson makes no sense whatsoever. The Tucker character has spent a majority of his air time trying to get Benson sacked. He delighted in having her thrown into prison despite knowing about her PTSD & sexual assault. He has brought up her PTSD multiple times to get at her.
Is Burke seriously the only re-occuring actor that Leight could convince to continue guest starring to makenthis absurd pairing????

Some of the things Tucker said to her as a survivor of sexual assault (prior to their relationship) are completely inexcusable. The idea that she would ever even give him a chance to gain her trust is so out of character I can't even take their relationship seriously. I liked them both better when they hated each other.
