For as long as I've been in jobs daughters I can remember this motion coming up and being shot down, daughters are daughters no matter what their background is. In this order we are taught to treat everyone equally and by not allowing girls with no Masonic heritage in this beautiful order, it is not treating them equally it is excluding them from developing if they so want to with the rest of our amazing members:

It's a clear double standard in favor of the old boys club. As a former DeMolay I was not required to have any Masonic lineage. Why is this not the case fit Job's Daughters in the year 2015? Astonishing. And just plain wrong.

We also have to take into account the demographic of people who can vote. You must be present in order to vote. Cant afford to travel to supreme? Your opinion doesn't count. This petition gives a more accurate representation of the population of JDI than any vote at Supreme ever will. Let our girls use the tools we have strived so hard to give them. Let them make their own decisions, let them vote, let them lead.
