It is irresponsible to promote JDI as an organization at the hands of its members, while simultaneously not hearing the voices of those members. Reconsider this ammendment, and reconsider the way voting is done at the Supreme level.

Job's would benefit so many girls!! I know that it would certainly help the girls in this area, NE the home of JDI where the numbers dwindle because of poor promotion in the smaller towns.

Think we need to continue the language discussion to ensure those that voted no have a chance to reword.

I believe that getting friends to join is hard enough with out relationship to a mason being the only barricade. I appreciate the heritage in which the order was founded, but many young women can and will benefit from the order influenced by such an honourable group of men. I am a Majority Member and a mother of a current Jobie. I truly believe that the girls should be heard and if this is truly what they ask for why are the adults not listening? We are teaching them to think for the betterment of the group, but adults don't listen. Then wonder why they clam up when we want their opinions?

I think that at the very least this decision needs discussed with the girls who are obviously hurt/ angry with this decision that was made against their vote. We've always prided ourselves on being an organization that turns young girls into strong female leaders of the world so why are we as adults undermining their ability to make decisions for their organization? And why with no explanation?

Either this organization is about the daughters or it is not. The girls overwhelmingly want this amendment, how can the adults justify ignoring their voice?
Its for the girls!!!!!!!!
