The girl's voices need to be heard about this matter. If the girls feel this needs to happen, then happen it should. The girls should not be shut down. -From a Brother Mason in Minnesota.

We support ammendment 10 in Ontario , Canada. Maintaing the status quo , may help seal our fate. We have 1 bethel left. With 6 girls. We NEED THIS! Maggie Brown, PHQ Bethel #6 , Guelph , Ontario , Miss Ontario Jobs Daughter 2006-2007

Prevent more and more bethels from dying. Times change and some other masonic organizations are loosening their stringent membership requirements. So should JDI. It will also be if it jurisdictions where the interest in job's daughters is there but not a lot of other masonic activity which reduces the pool of eligible girls.

As a Master Mason, I feel that this Amendment should be Passed. I will endorse any young female who wishes to Join Job's Daughters regardless. Neither DeMolay nor Masonry require this "Heritage Rule" and it has done just fine without it. If the girls want what they want, they should get it. Signed, A brother for the Daughters.

I think that this is a great thing to have. Without having this option for membership, we'll end up regulating ourselves out of existence. We NEED this. I know that some people will be disgruntled by this, but I'd rather change an Amendment then let something like this hinder our ability to grow and reach out to more girls who want to be in this wonderful organization and give us more power to help change the world for the better. I want to change this one thing, to keep the beautiful traditions we have alive, and I'm sorry, but telling some one who has the recommendation from a MM or is a Masonic member that they can't join is not tradition. It's pointless. Tasteless if you really wanted my full opinion. We need to show the world just how great our organization is, and that starts with welcoming more beautiful, intelligent, and kind girls into our ranks. It's one step at a time, and even though this is a baby step, it's a great step.

PHQ and PBG 42 Maryland and MM. Consider this: a man becomes a Mason not by relation but by his desire to become a better man. "2B1ASK1". Let it apply to JDI as well.

This needs to pass so we can continue to thrive in the 21st century and it won't mean we are losing our heritage but expanding it. So many men don't know about free masonry, so not only will we be expanding OUR membership, but also the membership of other Masonic bodies.
