By allowing on site training and no accreditation it demeans the education and responsibilities of the dental assistant as a whole , while at the same time putting added responsibilities on those DA’s with the education and accredited skills.

As a Formally trained dental assistant for the last 45 years and who maintains a license and registration I am against anyone working in the clinical aspect of a dental office without formal training, it’s always been my pet peeve!
