The SF Eagle has been an iconic destination for gay men for decades. It represents the breadth and complexity of the entire South of Market area. Please preserve it and don’t let it wither into the pages of history books.

The Eagle has been such an amazing part of so many people’s individual and collective journeys over the years and has shaped and supported the LGBTQ community for decades. Please preserve this sacred and very personal piece of history for all of us today and for many more people for years to come.

Definitely this club needs to be protected; it's the only one of it's kind in New York City!

The SF Eagle is now an institution for the gay leather community. It deserves the recognition & support to stay open.

This is literally a second home for many wayward gays in Sf. The community built here is one that I’ve never experienced before and am so glad I was able to be a part of before Covid

I have been going to the S.F Eagle for all its LGBTQ community support events since the 80's. Don't let gentrification, market forces and the pandemic obliterate such an important place for the Leather and LGBTQ community. This gathering place is Not just a bar, it should be preserve as part of the "Leather & LGBTQ Cultural District" SUPPORT THIS PETITION

This SF establishment is very important to not only the leather community, but to all LGBTQ+ people. It’s legacy must be protected so that generations to come Can enjoy it and understand it’s significance in the world and not succumb to greedy investors / land owners and be town down for more unaffordable condos or just be town down and sit vacant for 10+ years..
