Recognize Diwali as an official holiday on school's academic calendar under Pennridge School District

Inclusion is beneficial to all

I support these efforts to serve our community equally

I believe that families should be able to celebrate the holidays of their choice without having to have their child miss school.

Thank you so much for considering this, it will be so exiting on Diwali, kids won’t have to miss school to celebrate with family.

Agreed!

I would love to help with this effort however I can.

Please make Diwali a recognized holiday in the Pennridge school district

I was pleased to hear that the Central Bucks School District recognized Diwali as a holiday. I want this to be recognized as a holiday in the Pennridge School District and should be recognized in all schools. It is important that all students and families are represented in the district.

This is a very important holiday to members of our community. I hope Pennridge will do the right thing and recognize it.

It is critical that Pennridge School District celebrate all cultures and traditions, particularly those of our resident children. Families should not be asked to choose between school and Diwali. It is important that Pennridge School District lift our children up through supportive celebration.

Thank for working to make our school more inclusive

This absolutely should be on all of our calendars.

Absolutely people should know how reach culture plus the value associated as a community happpyness
